The D-2 standard for ballast water management imposes strict emissions for residual chlorine<0.1 mg/L, and the ECA area imposes a hard constraint on SOx emissions<0.1%, requiring the addition of chemicals and reducing agents to achieve uniform distribution within milliseconds. Traditional pipeline mixers experience significant attenuation of mixing strength under hydraulic fluctuations, low flow rates, and strong vibration conditions in the cabin, leading to wastage of chemicals, risk of exceeding standards, and increased operating costs.
